We are a culturally sensitive, identity-affirming, non-pathological private practice in Highland Park, Northeast Los Angeles. We primarily focus on providing individual and couples psychotherapy for teens and adults with an emphasis on trauma recovery, specifically intergenerational trauma, grief and loss, Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), and neurodivergent people, especially those who are late-diagnosed with ADHD and Autism.
Our therapeutic approach is rooted in IFS (Internal Family Systems) and weaves in other modalities such as Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), Intimacy From the Inside Out (IFIO), Gottman Method, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment/Relationally-Focused, Narrative, Mindfulness, and Somatic Practices.
Our therapists value their self-growth and are continuously curious about the intersections of their narratives with the ones they learn from their clients. They offer personalized, compassionate, and high-quality therapy services. A special welcome to applicants who strongly desire to deepen their therapeutic work through the IFS lens.

Our culture
We value culture add over culture fit
At Therapy on Fig, we're a diverse team of psychotherapists united by our commitment to “doing our work,” so the space we hold for our clients can truly honor their unique and authentic internal systems and lived experiences.
We value each therapist's depth and expansive perspectives while fostering a collaborative environment where our team and clients can thrive.
We are like-minded in our approaches and unique in our histories, identities, and stories. We acknowledge the power dynamics in the therapy space and believe the courage to show up as ourselves and the openness to bring forth quirky, uncommon, neuroatypical aspects of ourselves contribute to softening hierarchal differences.
We love our autonomy while desiring and committing to building community with each other. Our interdependence moves our mission forward to provide quality and personalized care for our communities.
Is this you?
You'd describe yourself as growth-minded in that you are abundantly curious about different lived experiences, ways of being, values, and beliefs. You are self-accountable, and your self-awareness is a key factor in noticing your impact and contributions to others. You are comfortable working independently, able to self-manage and curate how you spend your time and energy, and dedicated to participating and showing up in relationship building within a shared community. You're not skittish about self-disclosure and understand it as an important relational ingredient of being a therapist-human being.
Whether therapy is your first career or your second or third, your natural way of getting to know and embrace your various identities allows you to intuit who you work best with and who may be your ideal client. You are passionate about speaking to them, understanding their pain points, where they're stuck, and how to hold space for them. You're committed to deepening your existing knowledge of yourself and others and bringing forth curiosity for continuous learning and unlearning within the Therapy on Fig team and community.
A Practice That Values Growth
At Therapy on Fig, all therapists (associates and licensed) participate in ongoing supervision, learning, training, and consultations. An ideal candidate becomes specialized in working with a population that most and sustainably resonates with them. Niche development is supported by deepening their existing practice, growing through the IFS modality, becoming adept at taking U-turns, unblending, and building a trusting relationship with themselves in order to support the same relationship between their clients and their clients’ authentic selves.
Growth extends beyond siloed individual work and is shared within the community, allowing others to see your work and learnings. Each therapist brings themselves and expands and builds on the practice's current offerings, enabling more people in the community to find their good fit therapist. Ideal candidates see themselves growing with the practice, stepping into leadership roles in the future.
